Anna Riker, President
Anna began her event planning career in 1982 with the Independent Television Association (INTV) in Washington D.C., where she escorted government officials add and other VIPs through its annual conventions.
As Director of National Events for the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), she coordinated all aspects of the association’s annual tradeshow, including: site selection, registration, housing, transportation, sponsorship opportunities, and hospitability events. Under her direction, attendance at this event grew from 600 to more than 10,000 attendees and exhibits grew from 100 to over 300 booths. Anna was also responsible for creating an Exhibitor Subcommittee to develop and oversee rules and regulations regarding the tradeshow. She has served as on-site Show Manager and Floor Manager for broadband industry events.
In 1998, Anna created Riker Conference Connection (RCC). Through a staff of four, she has managed registration, exhibition sales, exhibit floor design, booth design and fabrication, catering, event marketing, public relations, speaking opportunities, staging and audio/visual for events of all sizes. Anna is responsible for the overall direction of the company, key customer contact and the financial performance of the company. She is also a member of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO).

William Riker, Executive Vice President
Bill is co-founder of RCC. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Operations at The Cable Center, an industry organization dedicated to education and information resources for broadband telecommunications. While there, he created and managed the Special Events department, which hosts over 150 conferences and receptions annually, both corporate and private. He also supervised the overall operation of The Center’s 74,000 sq.ft. International Headquarters facility, which includes a three story great hall, television production studio, board room with video conferencing capabilities, and indoor and outdoor theaters. Prior to joining The Center, he was President of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE). During his tenure, he developed and implemented strategic marketing programs that expanded the organization from 2,500 to over 14,000 members in the United States and 70 foreign countries.
Bill was named the first ever “Man of the Year” by CED magazine. He also received Communications Technology’s “Service Award” and was presented with NCTA’s “Vanguard Award”, the industry’s highest honor. In 2000, he was inducted into the SCTE Hall of Fame.
As Executive Vice President, Bill oversees company operations and corporate objectives. He is also responsible for contracting all technical services and audio/video production for RCC and
its clients.

Maria Dawson, Director of Marketing
Maria has a widely recognized track record of achievement based on more than 20 years of experience in marketing and tradeshow management. Prior to joining Riker Conference Connection, she held positions as the Director of Advertising for Texscan Corporation and Special Events Manager for Philips Broadband Networks.
She has extensive experience managing diverse vendor exhibits. This includes staging booths at more than 35 domestic and international exhibitions. As a result of working with so many shows, Maria is acutely sensitive to the goals and expectations of both exhibitors and attendees. She brings her organizational skills and creative talent to coordinating similar events for Riker Conference Connection. Her attention to detail, superb follow through and exceptional personal service assures that each managed event is a rewarding experience for all participants. Maria is bi-lingual in Spanish and English and is responsible for the development of creative and effective marketing programs for RCC and its clients.

Martha Schrade, Manager of Finance
Martha brings nearly 30 years of business finance and administrative capabilities to Riker Conference Connection. She began her career as an office manager, supervising all functions of a private and corporate medical practice. This included accounting, billing and collections.
Martha continued building her financial and business management experience at West Chester University and VisionQuest. She also served in a variety of finance and administrative roles for SCTE, where her primary responsibilities focused on coordinating accounting procedures, conference payment processing and sponsorship invoicing. As Manager of Finance for RCC, Martha is responsible for all finance, accounting, accounts receivable and administrative activities.
